The adults in our family said that if we were good we would get a surprise.
We must have been really, really good.
Because after breakfast today, Papa told us to get
our favorite stuffy and be in the car ready to go in 15 minutes.
When we got in the car he said that we were going somewhere
lots of fun and we would be gone a whole week.
After being in a car for a long, long time we finally arrived.
I thought it was just a cabin in the woods, but he said no.
We were going to spend the week in a lovely cabin in the country.
But not just any cabin.
But a cabin right down the road from Family Fun Fair.
Papa said that this fair while it would be so much fun,
and yes we would get cotton candies,
that this was a very special fair.
It was a fair that was raising money to help people that were really sick.
That they were sick due to a bad thing called Cancer.
That Family Fun Fair was raising money for Relay for Life!
